Bob Albrecht / Royal McBee

Did I ever tell you about him? I think he may have been one of the world’s first Personal Computer freaks. In 1961 we both worked for Royal McBee as Field Service Reps, working on LGP-30 computer systems. I did not know him as I worked in the Washington/Baltimore area and he worked in the Bay area. I think he may have been the district manager. Anyway, I met him in 1976 and found out that he had had an LGP-30 at home for years before he gave up on it and got a DEC PDP-8.
