The contributions of these
five revolutionaries brought computer technology from the elite computer
engineers to the ordinary person. With their help, computers were
made user-friendly and diverse enough that they could satisfy needs never
before imagined by their technological forefathers.
These men were to the computing
industry what flour was to the baking industry. The ideas and work
of these people established computer technology as the fastest growing
industry in the world; and to this day it is still.
